Are Vegetarians Healthier Than Vegans

Vegetarians and vegans who are into the lifestyle for health reasons.?
Tell me something okay. Are you in the vegetarian or vegan life for health? IF so do you drink beer, or wine? Do you smoke? While not a vegetarian I do agree that if done correctly a vegetarian diet is the healthiest diet possible, but if and only if done correctly. I eat less meat than the average meat eater, and have gone from 2 weeks to 1 full year of being vegetarian. I may be vegetarian again some time in the future. I mean although a vegetarian diet is great, there are other things you can eat, drink or consume that is as bad or worse for your body than meat. It doesn’t make since to me to be a vegetarian and eat 2 doughnuts every day for breakfast if you claim vegetarian for health reasons right. Hey I am really looking for some feedback on this. I know that not everyone has a perfect diet so I am just curious.
By the way the same health benifit that can be found in wine is found in grape juice and grape juice isn’t addicting like alcohol is either.
I am a vegan for health reasons (amongst many others). I occasionally drink a glass or two of organic wine (with no sulfates added). This type of wine is actually not bad for you in moderation. I don’t smoke. I try to eat food that is as least processed as possible, organic and mostly raw. It is amazing the world off possiblities that open up to you (foodwise), when you really delve into this path. When you fill your diet with nutrient-packed, enzyme loaded amazing plant foods, you actually stop craving all the overly-processed, nutrient depleted, chemical & preservative-laden junk. You feel great too. It does take time to change one’s habits though. Good luck.
