Can Vegans Eat Rice

Would this help me lose weight? (Please consider looking at)(for vegans and vegetarians)?

Well I am already a vegetarian and I was wondering if I go vegan for a week and then go vegetarian for a week, and continue repeating this pattern. Will I lose weight?

Um, I think I would be starving eating that.
Only two ways to lose weight (I assume you mean extra fat).
Eat less, or exercise more.
I say, eat more and exercise more.
I became vegan for the purpose of of athletics.
Being a bicycle racer, I neither lost nor gained weight switching to vegan diet as I was already at optimal weight. No matter what you eat, intensive exercise will put you to optimal weight. But, on a bad diet you won’t get very far.
