Can Vegans Have Butter
Need suggestion for replacing cheese in recipe?
I thought I would give it a go and see how I feel without eating egg or dairy products for awhile and how well I do. One meal that I make every week is broccoli and cheese potatoes. I was going to sub the cheese with soy cheese, but the only soy cheese I can find in my supermarket has in it. There were no other options. I got some vegetable broth and vegan butter substitute to add to the potatoes. And I got a few more vegetables to mix in.
But does anyone have any other ideas about how to jazz up the flavor a little bit? Is there something else cheese-like as far as taste and melty-factor go?
Try nutritional yeast flakes. It will add the flavor you’re looking for.
