Can Vegans Use Beeswax

can vegans use beeswax
Can anybody tell me where to find a UK source of organic palm wax for candle making?

As a crafts person, who is also an environmental scientist, I don’t want to use petroleum based products in my handiwork. In this case I want to make candles scented with organic essential oils. I have my own reservations about soy based wax. So right now I am looking to source some beeswax locally.

But the crafting of solid beeswax candles (rather than rolled sheet candles) is an art in itself. And beeswax is not acceptable to vegans.

I see that that there are a number of companies in UK now selling organic palm wax candles. One company selling same on e-bay says that they have their candles made for them by another UK based company.

So it would seem that palm wax is available in the UK. Trouble is my searches have not yet managed to find a supplier. Does anybody know of one?

My grateful thanks, ahead of time, for any answers to this question.

I can only think of EBay.
