Definition Of Vegans

definition of vegans
Why do vegans think that they can’t eat meat…?

By the definition of veganism you can…

The word “veganism” denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude — as far as is possible and practical — all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.

Now to me that says that as long as the animal is not exploited or treated cruelly by humans they are fair game.
So, if an animal died a natural death in the wild and then I ate it… I’d still be vegan?

I’m a vegan and this thought just occurred to me, I do know I wouldn’t do that but what do you think??

LOL, just curious.

THANKS

I disagree.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the definition of vegan is simply:
• noun a person who does not eat or use animal products.

The manner of the creature’s death does not enter into it at all.
