For some people jobs may depend on them staying in shape. Like a law enforcement person, a fireman, postal workers, etc.. If they are overweight they are not giving their job the 100% that is required of them. Maybe restricted movements because of fat, or maybe thinking about losing weight rather than thinking about what they are doing. Excessive weight bothers each person differently so it also effects each job differently. But it does effect the performance given by over weight people as compared to in shape healthy bodies.
