How do vegans feed their pets?

I owned dogs so i have to know…since vegetarians and vegans with animals rights folk are against eating meat, do you have dogs or cats for pets, animals who have to eat meat & feed them as so, have them & withhold meat from their diet or do you just get more vegan animals like gerbils & hamsters rabbits etc?

I have chosen to not eat animal products, but my cats have not, one gets fed meat, the other prefers to catch his fresh. What they each choose to eat and their carnivorous lifestyle no more reflects on what I choose to eat and my vegan lifestyle than say; what my next door neighbour decides to eat, does. We are three different individual living beings with three different lives and different eating habits.
