If it makes a difference they are vegan shoes so there is obviously some different materials used. Probably not to different just no leather and they would use different glue. Than k you.
What is that magic eraser thing? In Australia everyone I have asked about it is like “what the hell are you talking about?”
They aren’t cheap shoes. But not super expensive either.
To give some perspective a cheap pair of shoes here is $15, mine were $85, expensive guys shoes are like $150-$200. They cost heaps more if they are formal kinda shoes but I’m only talking about casual shoes.
What is “tide pen”?
And no they didn’t come with washing instructions
If they are made out of canvas and leather then they should be washable. Avoid using a washing machine if you’re not sure. Fill wash tub with warm water and washing detergent. Let the detergent dissolve well before putting the shoes in. Let them soak a little while and then use an old tooth brush to clean them. Work your fingers inside the soles to get the sweat out. Rinse them again and again by pressing them upside down in the tub of fresh water until the water is clear of soap. You can put them in the washing machine later only to spin dry so the excess water is removed and they dry quicker.
Do not put them the sun. Sun and water tend to make white canvas turn yellow.
Magic eraser is a white sponge that works wonders on all sorts of things using only water but I’m not sure about the shoes.
If the inside of the shoes have a bad odor, take them out of the tub after having rinsed them, and sprinkle some baking soda inside. Rub it around with your fingers and let them sit for half an hour. The soda disinfects the microbes that are causing the odors. Rinse well.
