Vegans, what is your opinion on Sushi?

I was wondering if you go to Sushi restaurants. I know that that most sushi includes fish and that the sushi chefs can’t always clean the mats or wash their hands before making the next batch. I know that they probably don’t.
I am trying to get over my OCD that revolves around worrying endlessly about contamination from animal products and so I sometimes go eat Sushi. Not that often, but my parents take me and I know they expect me to make an effort. They ask me if I can find something to eat, but if I mentioned the fact about the actual process in making the sushi they would be disappointed. What is your opinion on eating sushi?

If no fish was used to make your sushi, it shouldn’t be in conflict with your conscience to order an avocado roll or some other veggie item.
There is no way that you are contributing to the suffering of animals if you do, whether the chef is in a hurry or not.
