Vegans Population

Why do so many people become VEGANS os VEGETARIANS?
Each year millions and millions of people, around the world, become Vegans or Vegetarians and I predict that in 20 or 30 years time Vegans and Vegetarians will be more of half of the world population.
Great news for the poor animals living in concentration camps.
Mrfoo, if it’s so gross why do you still directly participate in it? I don’t support PETA but you’re showing some cognitive dissonance.
No. 8 is acctually true. It is quite possible to live as a vegan for under $50 a week.
I think if people go vegan just to look cool or for their partner, they’re going vegan for the WRONG REASONS and those types of “vegans” never stay vegan for longer than a month.
Veganism is at it’s core about ethics, even the guy who coined the term (Donald Watson) said so. Veganism is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle – that means we don’t consume anything that came from an animal whether it be animal food products or animal skins for clothing. We also avoid zoos and circuses that use animals. If you only eat a vegan diet but still wear or use animals in other forms, you’re not a vegan but a strict vegetarian. That’s a difference, veganism is a political and ethical statement – it is applying the theory of abolitionism to one’s daily life.
