Extreme vegan protesters who pour red paint on people who wear fur?

What do you think of these people? Is their method even remotely productive?

Here’s a story for you. This happened to an acquaintance of mine back in November.

So this woman is in New York with her sister. The sister has autism. They are both there to buy a jacket made of white fox fur, because it looks just like the one in the picture their grandmother always showed them from when the grandmother was a little girl in Russia. The grandmother’s house burned down when she was little, and everything (including the fur jacket) was burned.

The woman and her sister buy the coat with the money they saved, and the sister wanted to wear it so the woman let her. When they were walking by a hot dog stand, some lady shouted “FUR IS MURDER”, dumped mustard on the jacket and ran. The autistic sister was on the ground crying while this poor woman was trying to save the jacket from the mustard, snow and street dirt, and after all that they had to go back to the store they bought the jacket from and pay the store that sold furs MORE money to clean the jacket.

Imagine if it had been red paint. It never would have come out and they would have had to pay even more money for replacement fur panels or even another jacket. Or if the woman had chased down or caught the lady who damaged it, lawsuits would be involved.

It is NOT progressive to people who are opposed to fur.
