Should Kids Be Vegans

Opinions, do you think this name would get our child teased?

I have always wanted to name a daughter Eden. And my husband and I are having a girl, so that is the name we were planning on using. However, we are both vegans and we are going to raise our daughter as one as well. And as my husband pointed out, Eden and vegan kind of rhyme and he thought that would set her up to be teased by other kids. Do you think that is true, should we pick another name?

I love the name Eden. It’s beautiful and seems to fit in nicely with your lifestyle. There’s a Vegan restaurant in the town I live in called Eden. No one I know has put the two words together and joked about how they sort of rhyme. Kids will tease each other no matter what. You can’t rule out every name in the book to save them from what other kids might say. You should use the name that you and your husband love.
