Where and what did you eat when you studied abroad?

Did you have a lot of choices? I am vegan so I want to know if I have plenty of food options if I go abroad.

That depends on where you go. Some societies use little meat, others have few meat free menus. Also, if you speak the language of your server it will be easier to get meat free meals. If you have cooking facilities at your residence, you can prepare meals you know are meat free.
