Is the vegan lifestyle the way to clear my severe acne?
Everything that I love to eat and eat on a daily basis, such as dairy products, eggs, fried foods, sweets and others have triggered and prolonged my severe acne. I have been told that if I refrain from these foods that my skin will clear up for good. This is a radical plan for me, but does anyone know if the vegan lifestyle would be the way to go for me to clear my skin for good? Anyone who is a vegan or who knows about the vegan lifestyle I hope can help me to understand if this would clear my skin or if they have cleared their skin through this diet. THANK YOU!!!
Foods don’t cause or prolong acne. No diet will help.
Hormonal activity causes acne, and sometimes irritating an area over and over, usually around the mouth or cheeks. Holding a phone too close or resting you chin in your hand repeatably deposits dirt and bacteria.
First, see a dermatologist-they have amazing treatments. Second, drink lots of water.
And third, keep your skin clean. Don’t overdo it because you will dehydrate your skin and make it dry and scaly which will make the acne look worse.
Always try to keep your hands away from your face, never go to bed with a dirty face, and never share make-up with anyone.
