To keep your shoes clean and supple always follow recommended manufactures instructions.  Some shoes can go in the washing machine, while others need a specialist leather or shoe cleaner.  If it’s important that your shoes are water resistant then you can buy a spray or treatment that will keep your feet dry until the next time it is recommended for you to reapply the treatment.  Protectors and shoe cleaners can be bought from local stores or from local specialist shops.  You will also find many of the specialist online shoe stores stock cleaners and protectors for all kinds of materials.
