Vegans Eat Bread
Can you eat bread if you’re a vegan?
I’m turning vegan gradually and I want to know about breads and things you can or can’t eat. Thanks!
Well, we have something in common! I’m gradually going vegan as well and have been asking myself the same questions. You need to look at the ingredients.. different breads use different ingredients. Watch out for “mono and diglycerides”, or something similar. They can be animal or plant based. Some also have whey, which is milk. Some stuff that I have normally eaten has whey..which I think is not OK to eat.. but someone can confirm that for me. By the way, whoever mentioned ezekiel brand, it’s really good, but pricey. Their brown rice tortillas are delicious!
