Vegans Risk

How much supplemental calcium do those who aren’t vegans need?
there was a large study recently in the medical journals showing those who consume animal derived proteins (animal meat, dairy produce) need to take extra calcium as they are at high risk for osteoporosis. Anyone know how much they need?
Newton it was a randomised controlled study I believe Level of Evidence 1.
I’m not entirely sure, but its somewhere in the 1,300 to 1,500 mg range. Its whatever’s recommended by the U.S. government. But even then, I’m no scientist, so I can’t tell you if that’s good enough. & its actually that animal proteins inhibit your absorption of calcium.
