How many grams of protein…what percent…please help!?
The RDA for protein for healthy Americans is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram (kg) of body weight. Vegans, whose most protein comes from plant sources vs. animal sources, need 1.2 – 1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. Vickie weighs 150 pounds.
(a) Calculate the grams of protein per day she would need for a non-vegetarian and (b) a vegan. (c) What percent (%) would come from protein if she consumed 2400 calories per day and was a non-vegetarian?

Okay, 150 pounds=68.2 kilograms
68.2*0.8=54.56
So, if she was a non vegan, she would need 54.6 grams of protein
68.2*1.2=81.84
So if she was a vegan, she would need 81.84 grams of protein
And for C….
Protein would be 0.09% of her calorie intake
(If that’s what the question was asking. It confused me)
