What Vegans Cannot Eat

what vegans cannot eat
What foods do vegans eat?

I am 14 years old and have recently been diagnosed with Coeliac and Fructose (meaning I cannot eat most fruits).
I am a vegetarian but I still have milk and cheese. I already don’t eat eggs and I think that I could drink rice milk and nix the cheese. But so many foods contain traces of dairy, such as frozen chips, gluten free vegetable bakes, cereals and loads of other stuff. Does anyone know how much dairy would actually be in those types of food? Am I still considered cruel if I cut out the main sources but still consume those with traces of dairy?

O~o I’m sorry to hear about your condition ………………….

This here is a link of vegan labels you can find at the grocery store, they are mostly carbs: http://www.peta2.com/STUFF/s-accvegan.asp

Vegans eat anything that does not envolve animal cruelty, including meat, fish, eggs, dairy ie milk and yougurt, and white sugar carbs. Vegans do not use dairy because they think that taking the milk is depriving the cow from nutrients and that the milk is for the baby calfs. Another factor is the force the farmers use on obtaining the meat and milk from the cow to meet the demands of the society. So in vegan terms yes you are considered cruel, if you knowingly foods containing any animal products.

Whole grains are easy to obtain and are much healthier for you. Whole grains provide you with your fiber and carbohydrates, while plant oils provide fat and soy, legumes provide protein.

Going vegan is not just about the food you eat, its also abou the clothes you wear and the make up you use. There is an increase in animal cruelty for cosmetic tests. This list provides animal-cruelty free products, both expensive as well as affordable: http://www.peta2.com/STUFF/s-wear.asp, http://www.peta2.com/STUFF/s-cf.asp
