Why Are Vegans Crazy

Why do people think being a vegan is so weird?

I’ve been vegan for a while now, and whenever I tell someone, they act like I’m insane. I know some vegans ARE crazy and go around with “Meat is Murder” shirts and freak out if you’re not vegan, but I’m not like that. I don’t mind when people eat meat around me and I never bother my friends about it.

I think it’s the word ‘vegan’. As soon as people hear it they immediately think ‘extremist’ even if you aren’t.

Maybe try telling people “I don’t eat meat or dairy” instead of saying vegan, they might take it a bit better.
