Why Do Vegans Avoid Honey

[mage lang="en|el|ja|en" source="flickr"]why do vegans avoid honey[/mage]
Why do I still feel like I am just not doing enough?

Ok I am Vegan, so I am very strict and have cut all animal products out of my diet including honey. I also keep my soya intake at a minimum and avoid any unethical materials and products.

Plus I have been volunteering for 3 to 5 hours a day 4 days a week in charity shops.

But no matter what I do I really still do not feel like I am doing enough, like I still have so much more to achieve. But I cannot go Fruitarianism or Raw Vegan until I leave home in like 2 years!

So now I am just stuck feeling completely inadequate…

Please can anyone suggest anything else good I can do, I really want to make a difference. Thank you!

You’re doing a lot. Be grateful for having a good heart.
Find a career path that supports your values. It can be difficult though (my friend is a vegan vet and she has trouble relating with veterinarians who eat animals) You could work for a non-profit, but money does matter, especially if you want to make donations and spend a little more money on quality products. It doesn’t have to cost more to be vegan, but I personally prefer to buy pricey organic products. If there is a farmer’s market where you live, you can try getting produce there. Also, pay attention to the source of your food from the store. Try to buy locally. Good luck!
