Why Vegans Are Stupid

Why do people hate vegetarians and vegans?

i know it gets annoying when vegetarians and vegans push their beliefs on everyone else so i understand why people hate them…but when ppl find out in a vegetarian..their all like..”thts stupid animals dont matter”, or they’ll ask me why and i’ll be like..cause its better for me, the enviroment, and the well being of animals..and then people get all turned off….or they’ll like hold meat in front of my face….i dont think im better than everyone else because i dont eat meat and i dont try to stop other ppl from eating meat..because i respect everyone’s beliefs…but shouldnt other people respect mine?

When you start expecting people to do things that you believe they “should” do, you’ll end up being very disappointed. No one “should” do anything. Either they do something or they don’t do something. You believe you should respect other people’s beliefs. However, not everyone thinks that way and you can’t hold it against them for having a differing opinion. People have that right.

No matter what you stand for or believe in, someone will disagree. It has nothing to do with being a vegetarian and everything to do with the fact that some people just don’t care: if you have a different opinion, they’ll act ignorant and childish to you. If you want it to stop, just act childish back or make snide quips. That way, it makes them feel stupid for doing it, and that typically makes them stop.

For example:
Person: “That’s stupid, animals don’t matter.”
You: “So just because you don’t care about something means you can eat it? Well, good, I don’t care about you and I’m getting pretty hungry.”

Person: *holds meat in front of your face*
You: “Yep, you’re holding meat. Now, if you really want to impress me, you’ll use your magical God-given hunting skills to actually kill that animal with your bare hands, then consume its flesh, including cracking the bones open to eat the marrow with your superior teeth.”
