Should I become a vegetarian?

I have been interested in becoming a vegetarian for awhile now, but just started reading about it on the internet, books, etc. After seeing a little about animal cruelty, and some reasons why to become one, like, health, environment, saving animals, and all that I want to consider it seriously.

I’ve never liked meat, even when I was little and my parents tried me to get me to eat it. I do however, like eggs and yogurt. I can’t drink milk for health reasons so I occasionally drink chocolate soy milk, not the regular kind.

Will I have to give up my eggs and yogurt afterward, or is that vegan?

What are some reasons NOT TO become vegetarian?

*please* dont say “meat is gooood, vegetarians are dumb!” kay! Thanks in advance!
Ohyea, I’m 16 years old, and in relatively good health.

You don’t HAVE to do anything. You can cut out certain things from your diet, and leave others in. Don’t get caught up in the labels.

if you want to give up meat but still have eggs and dairy, go right ahead.

Do a bit of research though and make sure you still keep a healthy nutrient intake. Protein is the big issue but if you still eat eggs and dairy, its less of a problem.
